Password Wallet™ is a convenient and secure place to store all of your usernames and passwords. For security, PasswordWallet™ uses 448-bit BlowFish encryption to protect your data. For convenience, PasswordWallet™ can save URLs with your passwords and launch your default browser for you. For safety, PasswordWallet™ can copy your password to the clipboard and clear it automatically after you paste. One "master" password unlocks all of your other passwords. And if you're running MacOS 9, Password Wallet™ will add your "master" password to the Keychain control panel! It just doesn't get any easier than this.
Users can add as many usernames and passwords as they like. We securely synchronize your PasswordWallet™ with your PalmPilot™, so you can have your passwords, and a little piece of mind, while you're away from your computer!
PasswordWallet™ is Shareware! If you use it, you have to pay.
Visit our web site at <http://www.selznick.com> for information about our different payment methods, including secure on-line credit card orders, fax orders, phone orders, purchase orders, and mail orders.

How do I upgrade the PasswordWallet™ application on MacOS?
For all of the following procedures, always be sure you data is backed up to a safe location.
Upgrading from 1.0 through 1.1.1 to 2.6:
The original PasswordWallet for MacOS kept all of its passwords in a file named "Password File".
1. Run the new PasswordWallet.
2. Select "Open" from the "File" menu.
3. Locate and open the "Password File" from your old installation.
4. Save the file under a new name.
5. You're done.
6. From now on double-click the document instead of the PasswordWallet application to view your passwords!
Upgrading from 2.0+ to 2.6:
2.0 and this version have the exact same file format. There is no necessary file conversion.
If you also using Palm PasswordWallet™:
If you are not having any problems with synchronization, just reinstall Palm PasswordWallet.
If you are having problems with synchronization, we recommend the following:
1. Verify that Palm PasswordWallet version 1.1 is installed on your Palm.
2. Verify that Conduit 1.0.5 is installed in your Palm:Conduits folder.
---
3. The first two steps are very important!
4. Make a backup of your MacOS PasswordWallet file to a safe location.
5. Open your MacOS PasswordWallet file.
6. While holding down the option-key on your keyboard, select "Reset for Clean Synchronization" from the "File" menu. This does not delete your data on the Mac side.
7. From the "Options" menu of Palm PasswordWallet, select "Reset Database". This will clear your data on the Palm side.
8. Tap the lock on the Palm side to set the password so it matches the mac side.
9. Resynchronize.
We apologize for this inconvenience. There were problems with the old conduit 1.0.3 where data could be corrupted. These problems were fixed in Conduit 1.0.5.
